This highly contemporary artwork is formed from a tree silhouette, captured at the Thicks ancient woodland in the village of Assington, Suffolk, and is an incredibly popular walking destination.  Whilst many of this woodlands native tree species are no longer present, its anciency remains within its soil and it has been present here since at least 1600.  The woodland is now privately owned and commercially used, hence the many fir tree species.  A public footpath runs through the centre of the woodland and other footpaths which meander through the trees are provided for and permitted by the owners.

This artwork has a beautiful, blue counterpart which can be purchase seperately to hang alongside.  This artwork title is 'Indigo Ice' and is shown in the store imagery.

Printed onto the beautifully luxurious Fujiflex Supergloss fine art paper, it gives an incredible high glass-like sheen, fabulous colour intensity and impressive depth and is sure to be a talking point when on anyone's wall.  On display at The shoulder of Mutton Pub, Assington, this artwork can be seen in all its glory, float-mounted and set into a clean, simplistic black frame.
