Sunshine & Green

Atop of the hill, on the outskirts of the Suffolk village of Cavendish is a smallholding. Run by Greg, this small but perfectly formed place is growing fruit and vegetables, supplying local residents with produce which has been lovingly nurtured without the use of chemicals or pesticides, instead favouring more natural or alternative techniques such as large nets or planting hedgerows to prompt bird habitation, feeding off the insects that want to nibble their way through the leafy wares. These photographs are a small window into the happenings behind the scenes of building a more traditional and sustainable way of farming and growing, and embracing seasonality.
